The Scott Indoor Arena

 

Completed in 2007, the Scott Indoor Arena enables equestrians of all ages to participate in lessons year round. The state of the art facility with Euro felt footing and radiant heat, measuring 80′x 200′, serves as a first-class haven for riders of all ages during the cold winter months, inclement weather or after the sun sets. The bi-level viewing lounges allow for family, friends, and coaches to watch the action without disturbing the horse/rider relationship.

 

Adjacent to the arena is a flexible building used for celebrations, corporate meetings, training sessions, horse shows and clinics. The second floor offers an open space adaptable to the needs of renters. The space can accommodate 8 to 30 people depending on client needs and set up. Two break-out rooms and a kitchen for catered meals are also available.

 

The second floor is also home to a spa used by The Inn at Richmond and clients of Berkshire Equestrian Center. The spa has a Massage Room, dual shower/steam room, whirlpool tub and facilities to provide various spa treatments. Advance reservations are required for spa services. A private deck allows guests to further decompress with the warmth of the sun, fresh country air, and pastoral views.

 

The Miles Outdoor Riding Arena

 

The Miles Outdoor Riding Arena with shaded viewing area and Judge’s Stand is the perfect space for riders to hone their walk/ trot/ canter, dressage, and jumping skills. Measuring 150’x250′ and featuring Eurofelt footing, “The Miles” is located contiguous to The Scott Indoor Riding Arena and directly behind the Shaker Barn. It is home to many competitive equestrian events and lessons.

 

The Morgan Indoor

 

Historically one of the preeminent Morgan training facilities, this barn measures 44′ x 140′ and is regularly used for lunging. 

 

Outdoor Jump Field

 

The Outdoor Jump Field offers riders another option for developing skills showing on grass.​
